Motor City Comicon Fall 2025 was a full weekend of sparkle, laughter, and cosplay magic as tiaras found their way onto the heads of tiny queens, rennies, brides, and fandom lovers of every kind. The parade of characters was nonstop — from bold Poison Ivys to determined Judy Hopps to a shockingly large population of Velmas celebrating Matthew Lillard’s appearance. Kids picked crowns with the seriousness of selecting royal artifacts, and brides stumbled into their dream tiaras as if the show itself had summoned them. Between LEGO treasures, purple bracelets, and the sheer joy of watching people light up in front of the booth, it quickly became one of our favorite shows of the year. My first Comicon vending experience wasn’t a small local show—I went straight to C2E2 in Chicago, one of the largest conventions in the Midwest. It was overwhelming, exhilarating, expensive, and unforgettable all at once. From navigating McCormick Place with my tiny crooked trailer, to selling out of my best tiaras on day one, to watching the behind-the-scenes forklifts and crews build an entire world overnight, C2E2 pushed me in every possible way. Despite the cold walks, long days, and sky-high booth costs, the steady crowds, incredible cosplay, and nonstop sparkle-lovers made the whole weekend worth it—and taught me lessons I’ll carry into every future show.

The 2025 Clayshire Castle Medieval Festival was another unforgettable weekend of sparkle, sunshine, and festival magic. This was my third year vending with Auburn And Main, and between the morning horse walk-abouts, forearm-length kielbasa, new discount options, and the friendliest vendors around, it felt like a perfect mix of comfort and adventure. With steady sales, pink glittery booth décor, surprise serenades from an acapella duo, and plenty of overheated moms grateful for the free hand fans I handed out, Clayshire proved once again why it’s one of my favorite stops on the circuit.
